MEET THE OWNER

FELICIA SCIORTINO, PT, DPT, OMT

My path to physical therapy involved quite of bit of running and several injuries. Before I decided PT would be my future profession, I ran for BU’s D1 track and cross-country teams. My high school running career was relatively injury free apart from a few shin splints and an ankle sprain, but come college, I developed stress fracture after stress fracture. Frustrated with how often I was getting injured, I pursued an interest in biomechanics. Learning about how my running mechanics were contributing to my risk of injury eventually led me to BU’s accelerated physical therapy program. My last year of PT school I worked with BU’s cross-country team on a yearlong project during which I analyzed their running form and created treatment programs to prevent them from sustaining repetitive injuries.

I graduated in 2019 with my Doctorate in Physical Therapy and developed Limitless Running in 2020. My passion for running and helping other runners achieve their goals has continued to grow over my many years of study and competition, but I have also dabbled in other sports as a means of cross training. Fast forward to 2023 when I signed up for my first Olympic distance triathlon. I loved every second of training and racing, so I'm now a designated runner AND triathlete!

"I had been dealing with calf/ankle/foot pain that would last for days after a run since I started running again last year. Since seeing Felicia I have been able to run without pain! She also set me up with a training plan to make sure I keep the strength I need to run and stay injury free. Overall wonderful person to work with and I enjoyed all our sessions together."

"Dr. Felicia Sciortino PT, DPT, was highly recommended to me by another ultrarunner. I tore my hamstring several years ago and have been dealing with chronic pain/discomfort while running. I was also dealing with an acute injury of the R forearm and I needed someone who would be willing to develop a plan for recovery that wouldn't sideline me entirely. I had an initial meeting with Felicia where assessed the current state of my injuries, the treatments & therapies I had tried before. We then worked together to develope a progressive plan of active recovery & healing designed to strengthen my hamstring & forearm. I am now able to extend my long runs beyond marathon distance and I'm slowly regaining my strength and ability to swim again. The hamstring feels much improved and my forearm pain is all but gone. I'm so thankful that Felicia's personal experience as an athlete, academic excellence, and hands on experience is available in Greenville to help people like me stat healthy so we can enjoy life to its fullest! I would recommend her practice to any person who may find themselves with an injury that is keeping them from doing the activities that they love."

"I met Felicia through a Fleet Feet NoBo clinic where she provided easily understandable strength training exercises specifically designed for running. As someone new to running, this information was quite informative so I decided to meet with her for a gait analysis. The information the test provided was quite in-depth but she broke it down making it simple for me (a new to running person) to understand. She offered suggestions on running form changes along with specific exercises to help with my weaknesses. When I returned for my second visit the improvements were substantial. She provided treatment for my stiff toes along with additional exercises to perform at home and I can’t wait to see the additional results. I have no hesitation recommending her to anyone looking to improve their running or dealing with running related injuries."
